What is Shopnasi?+
Shopnasi (Shop Nasi) is an app to run your business. You use it to sell at the till, send quotes and invoices, take M-Pesa, keep track of your stock, buy from suppliers and see your profit. It also gives you your own online shop.
Is it for my kind of business?+
It's used by shops and minimarts, boutiques, pharmacies, beauty shops, hardware shops, wholesalers, small manufacturers, salons and other service businesses. If you sell products or services, it fits.
Is it hard to learn?+
No. Most people make their first sale on the day they sign up, and cashiers learn the till in minutes. If you get stuck, we help you on WhatsApp.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. Every new business starts on the Free plan, with no card needed. Move to a paid plan whenever you need more.
Can I take M-Pesa payments?+
Yes. Connect your own Paystack account and you can send M-Pesa payment prompts at the till, add pay-online links to invoices and take M-Pesa on your online shop. The money goes straight to your Paystack account.
What happens if the internet goes off?+
If you allow it, the till keeps selling while offline and sends the sales as soon as the connection is back. A few things, like returns and M-Pesa prompts, wait until you're online again.
Can I use it in more than one shop?+
Yes. Each shop (branch) has its own stock, tills and staff, and you see everything together.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. Shopnasi runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. You can also add it to your phone's home screen.
Can I bring my existing customers and products?+
Yes. Bring your customers and products from Excel, with the stock you have today. We can help you get set up.
Is my data safe? Can I leave?+
Your data belongs to you. The owner can export everything to Excel at any time, and a closed business has 30 days to change its mind before its data is deleted.
How do I pay for my plan?+
Plans are paid monthly or yearly by M-Pesa or card. Yearly plans cost less.
